Legacy
Built by the family that built Bricktown
Jim D. Brewer, known as “the father of Bricktown,” began acquiring vacant warehouse buildings on the east side of downtown Oklahoma City.
Brewer founded the Bricktown St. Patrick’s Day Block Party on March 17, 1990. Its first year drew roughly 500 people; it now draws 8,000 to 10,000 annually.
Brewer Entertainment has operated as an Oklahoma City event producer and facility manager since 1991, and owns and operates this venue.
Jim D. Brewer died in November 2008. The business remains family-owned.
Formerly the Coca-Cola Bricktown Events Center and the Chevy Bricktown Events Center
Bricktown Event Center is the same building and the same operator behind both earlier names, at 425 Kings of Leon Lane in Oklahoma City.
